So first things first let's talk about the position because it's problem for a lot of a people for do it in a proper form .

Second: don't forget to breath when you are pushing against the ground inhale when you push down and exhale when push up that will help you to control your breathing .
Third: your hand position should in a line with your chest that for the horizontal and open them as shoulder width .
Forth: and it's a very important point when you go down go as much as you can and when you push up go up as mush as you can your arm should be fully extended.
Fifth: your elbows should be in that mean when push up make sure that you are pushing with your elbows in what i mean by in i mean in a narrow position they should close to your core .
The good things about them that you can do them literally any where any time you can start by doing some set in the morning or just a session of pushing with variation of position of push-up will talk about the best push-up variation in a another occasion.
Finally i just wanna tell you that push-up it's not about chest only no they will work your chest and triceps and even your core muscle so what your waiting for to do some ?
